Adding a number to the White List
If you plan on controlling the device via any method other than the control panel, you will need to add that devices phone number into the white list. For example, if you want to be able to call the device from your home phone, or allow others to call the device to trigger it's relays, you must add their phone numbers to the white list. If you do not, the device will not respond. To add a phone number to the white list, click the '+' sign in the top right corner of the white list window.
You will be presented with a screen that indicates a position and a phone number. Select the position in the white list that you want the number to be stored (don't use a position that is already in use!) and enter the phone number of the device that you want to use to control the device. If that is your home or business phone, then enter that number, excluding the country code. The phone number must be 10 digits.
Click submit and the request will be sent to the device. A pending sign will appear next to the number until a confirmation text is received from the device.
Delete a number from the White List
If you want to remove a phone number from the white list (because you want to prevent that number from controlling the device), then click the 'X' beside that number. A pending sign will appear next to the number until a confirmation text is received from the device indicating that the number was cleared.
